Who runs this site
Invoices.tools (invoices.tools) is operated by Anderson Gomes Ferreira. contact@invoices.tools
How it works
The editor, the totals and the PDF all run in your browser. The PDF is drawn on your device with pdf-lib, an open-source library, and saved straight to your downloads.
Totals are worked out in whole cents (or the smallest unit of the currency you pick): line totals, then the subtotal, then the discount, then each tax on the discounted amount, then shipping.
The site does not suggest or apply any tax rate. You type the rate and the label your business uses; what you must show on an invoice depends on where you and your client are, so check it with your accountant or tax office.
Where the data and rules come from
- pdf-lib (MIT licence) — Library that draws the PDF in the browser
How we keep the content up to date
The totals are covered by automated tests (rounding, currencies without decimals, empty rows) that run before every release.
What this site is not
Invoices.tools makes documents; it does not send them, collect payments or keep accounting records. It gives no tax or legal advice and does not know the invoicing rules of any country.
